Hampton Inn scheduled to open this Week

The new Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton in downtown Seneca is scheduled to open up this week, that’s according to Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander. “The Hampton Inn is scheduled to open up, if everything comes together, they are supposed to open up this weekend on Friday.  So, we are looking forward to the hotel getting opened up.” Before the new 100-room hotel officially opens for business an inspection by Hilton Brand executives must take place.  Summer rains delayed the original opening date that was planned for the start of the Clemson University football season but now the hotel plans to be open as Clemson celebrates Homecoming by hosting Wake Forest on Saturday at 3:30pm in Memorial Stadium.  The new Hampton Inn and Suites plans to begin taking reservations on Friday.
