Hard Landing for Plane in OC

It was a hard landing for a small plane Sunday evening in Oconee County, tells Oconee County Deputy Chief of Special Operations and Emergency Manager Scott Krein. “Last night we had reports of a small plane going down in the remote areas of Mountain Rest and upon arrival we found the people in the plane were OK. They did do a hard landing, but everyone walked away without having to go to the hospital.”
The two-seater plane with two people on board made a hard landing near Earl’s Ford Road around 6:30pm. The FAA was notified and will be investigating.
