Help sought locating Wanted Walhalla Man

Crimestoppers of Oconee County, Inc. in partnership with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and the Seneca Police Department are seeking the public’s help in locating a Walhalla man who is wanted on charges from both law enforcement agencies. 26-year-old Timothy Moses Souden of Pine Manor Circle in Walhalla is wanted by the Sheriff’s Office on seven outstanding arrest warrants: one count of grand larceny, three counts of petit larceny and three counts of breaking into a motor vehicle. The grand larceny charge stems from an incident reported to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office on July 19, in which a deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division was dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle from an address on Blue Ridge Boulevard near Seneca in which a white 2004 Ford Ranger single cab pickup truck was taken from the address. The value of the pickup taken was around $3,000 and the vehicle information has been entered into the National Crimes Information Center database. The charges of petit larceny and breaking into a motor vehicle stem from three separate vehicle break-ins that occurred, one of those on Silo Alley near Seneca on July 19, in which entry was made into a Chevy Silverado pickup and multiple items were taken, including an electronics item and a firearm, plus a wallet. The other two vehicle break-ins occurred at two separate addresses on Keowee Lakeshore Drive near Seneca, one that was reported on Aug. 22, and the other reported on Aug. 28. The incident reported to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 22, involved a break-in of a 2011 Honda Pilot in which money and credit card information was taken. The incident reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 28, involved entry that was made into a blue in color 2009 Honda CRV in which some money and an electronics item was taken. The current charge against Souden from the Seneca Police Department is grand larceny in which the defendant is accused from carrying away a 2000 Mercedes Benz SUV from a residence in Seneca that was later recovered in Spartanburg County, according to Seneca Police Chief John Covington. Chief Covington also says that Souden is a person of interest in car break-ins that the Seneca Police Department is currently investigating.
