Help sought solving Shoplifting at Seneca Walmart

Crimestoppers of Oconee County, Inc. and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seek the public’s help in regards to a shoplifting that was reported Monday at the Seneca Walmart location on Sandifer Boulevard, explains Jimmy Watt, Public Information Officer for the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and the coordinator for the Crimestoppers program. “Crimestoppers and the Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in identifying a subject in relation to the reported shoplifting. Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Division responded Monday afternoon to reports of the shoplifting with an individual running from the store that left the store parking lot in a silver in color Nissan Frontier extended cab pickup. The items that were attempted to be taken from the store were a cooking griddle station and a chainsaw. Both items were recovered. The retail value of the items is around $379. The subject in question is a white male, who is bald and has a goatee and may be between the ages of 25 to 37.” If you have any information on this July 2, 2018 shoplifting from the Walmart in Seneca or the identity of the subject in relation to this case, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
