High praise for New Seneca City Administrator

New Seneca City Administrator Scott Moulder earned high praise for his first full week on the job. Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander is very thankful that he will be assuming the city’s top position when Greg Dietterick retires on June 30. “It went great, had a good week last week, it was a busy week for him and we have a lot of things going on this week too. He is going to do a great job for Seneca. We are very fortunate to have him as our new city administrator.” Mayor Alexander is grateful to Dietterick for helping Moulder during the transition. “Greg is really sort of letting Scott go with it and he is there to answer anything and help him in anyway he can. I know Greg is trying to adjust to that too, nothing against Scott, but just knowing that he fixing to retire. He talked to me and said it is different and I understand how it would be, but I appreciate Greg for being able to go through the transition and make sure that Scott has everything that he needs. He is letting him get familiar with everything in the city. Scott is pretty young and I said you know Greg stayed here 20 years, so we are looking for him being here 20 years.” Moulder served eight years as Oconee County Administrator before accepting the job last month in the City of Seneca.
