Hobby Lobby celebrates Grand Opening

The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce held a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration for Hobby Lobby Monday morning, April 23. Chamber Executive Director Vanessa Penton said, “The unfavorable weather on Monday didn’t deter folks from coming out to celebrate the opening of the new Hobby Lobby store located in the old K-Mart building in Applewood Shopping Center off Sandifer Boulevard in Seneca. The ceremonial ribbon cutting was performed by store manager Jayson Holbrooks and celebrated with management and staff of Hobby Lobby, members of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce and Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander and Councilwoman Denise Rozman looking on. Members of the Gallant family who own Applewood Shopping Center were on hand for the opening and were thanked by Hobby Lobby management, for their partnership in bringing Hobby Lobby to Seneca and Oconee County.” Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9am to 8pm.
