Holiday Hours at The AG Museum and Woodburn

Spend your holiday vacations with your family by visiting two of Pendleton’s historical museums. The Bart Garrison Agricultural Museum will be opening over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season and museum staff will also be offering guided tours of Woodburn Historical Home. For the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, the museum will close on Thanksgiving Day and then open Nov. 24, and 25, from 10am until 2pm. Museum staff will offer a tour of Woodburn starting at 2:30pm. On Sunday, Nov. 26, museum hours will be 1-3pm with the tour of Woodburn starting at 3:30pm. Admission to the museum is free, though donations would be appreciated. Admission to Woodburn is $2 for ages 5-10 and $6 for people ages 11 and over. Over the Christmas holiday season, the Agricultural Museum will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 26, 31, and Jan. 1. Open hours are Dec. 21-23, 10am until 2pm; Dec. 27-29, noon until 5pm; Dec. 30, 10am until 3pm. On all these open days, the Woodburn tour starts at 2:30pm. Woodburn is not heated so visitors should dress accordingly. Also, all water has been turned off at Woodburn for the winter season. For more information, call 864-207-0705 or email [email protected].
