Hospice of the Foothills Board hosting Sunset Soiree

The Board of Hospice of the Foothills is hosting its second annual Sunset Soiree from 6:30 – 9pm on Friday, May 31 at Tiger Park on Highway 93 near the Esso Club in Clemson. This year’s theme is Hawaiian Luau with authentic food, beer, wine and soft drinks. Festivities include a Silent Auction and Live Auction, in addition to live music provided by Paula & Jorge, lots of fun games and prizes. Dress is casual and tickets are $40 each. Reservations for a table for 10 are available for an additional $50 charge.  “Our 2013 Sunset Soiree promises to be a fun evening,” said Kim Fisher, event co-chair. Bob Rider, event co-chair, agreed, “We encourage folks to get together with friends and come out and have a great time while helping a very worthwhile cause.” All proceeds from the event will help support the ongoing operations of Oconee Hospice of the Foothills by growing the Crippen Endowment, named for founders Dr. Don and Mrs. Dorothy Crippen. Purchase tickets by contacting a member of the Hospice of the Foothills Board or calling the Foundation office at 885-7912.  Ticket availability is limited, so call early to reserve yours.
