Inspirational Journey

This Saturday, the American Cancer Society and Miss Spartanburg 2013 Clarka Wickliffe host The Inspiration Journey at the SC Governor’s School Auditorium in Greenville.  Over 15 talented acts from all over the Southeast will provide inspirational and uplifting entertainment during the 2pm matinee and 7pm evening show.  Ali Rogers, Miss South Carolina will be the emcee throughout both performances educating everyone on “Cancer Awareness and Prevention.”  As Father’s Day approaches, Clarka decided to honor her father with this event with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. General admission is only a $10 minimum donation.  If you are not able to attend, please consider purchasing “phantom tickets” and give cancer-stricken families in the Upstate an opportunity to attend for free.  Tickets may be purchased in advance by contacting Clarka at [email protected] or Christine Posner with the American Cancer Society at [email protected].  The American Cancer Society, the Miss America Organization, and the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities welcome you to this unique event to raise funds for cancer research, enjoy some local talent, and educate you on simply daily cancer prevention methods to help save lives.
