It’s not too late to join Libraries Rock

It’s not too late to join in “Libraries Rock” at the Oconee County Public Library (OCPL). You still have until Aug. 1, to turn in reading logs from the Summer Reading program in order to be entered for prizes, says OCPL Director Blair Hinson. “There is still plenty of time for folks to get their reading logs turned in, we still have the prizes. The last day to turn them in for the grand prize will be Aug. 1.” The Summer Reading program culminates with a huge End of Summer Reading Bash at South Cove Park, adds Hinson. “The End of Summer Reading Bash is Friday at South Cove Park from 1-4pm. We will have a water slide bounce house, Bingo, a Park Ranger demonstration, food, and the Bookmobile will be there. You get free admission with your Summer Reading Bash ticket.” For more information, visit www.oconeelibrary.org.
