It’s Primary Election Day in SC

Today is Primary Election Day in South Carolina. Polls open at 7am and close at 7pm. There are some key races as everyone in the state will vote for governor, regardless if you are voting in the Democratic or Republican Primary, which is the first time that’s happened in 8 years. In addition, both parties have candidates in the Congressional Districts. Before going to the polls, look over your sample ballot by going to www.scvotes.org. There you will also find your precinct location. Whether you vote Democrat or Republican, there are also advisory questions on the ballot, which means they don’t affect any laws but are meant to inform the party you vote for about your beliefs. Most importantly make sure to bring your voter ID when going to the polls.
