$ix Dollar Fix now available at OHS

For a limited time the Oconee Humane Society is offering $6 vouchers for spay and neuter surgeries for cats if you live in the part of the 29678 zip code inside the boundaries of Highway 123 and Wells Highway.  You can come in for your voucher at the Oconee Humane Society, Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm.  The Oconee Humane Society is located at 1925 Sandifer Boulevard in Seneca, just look for the “animal shelter” sign on your left 1.5 miles west of Walmart. Over 4,000 pets were turned into the animal shelter in 2012, 1,296 of the cats that were brought in were euthanized; this can be prevented if everyone spays or neuters their cats.  Help be a part of the solution of pet overpopulation in Oconee County.  Come in today or call 864-882-4719 for more information or you can read more about the $ix Dollar Fix program at www.oconeehumane.org.
