Join the Oconee Economic Alliance

The Oconee Economic Alliance (OEA) is a public-private nonprofit effort to accelerate job creation and capital investment, increase per capita income, diversify the local tax base and generate awareness of Oconee County as a business location. Becoming a member of the OEA provides many benefits, explains OEA Executive Director Richard Blackwell. “We work with existing primary employers to help them grow in Oconee County. We attract new companies to locate here and we work with community partners to build upon and improve the area’s desirability to businesses and residents. We market the benefits of doing business in Oconee County to domestic and international audiences. We advertise and travel around the globe to meet with prospective companies. We work closely with state and local governments to identify beneficial incentives and other programs, as well as engaging local businesses to help identify opportunities for expansion and growth. Our support comes from government and various local businesses who see the value of supporting the attraction and expansion of businesses in our community. Supporting the OEA is supporting the future of Oconee County. We work to accelerate capital investments, resulting in job creation and increasing per capita income. We also work to diversify the local tax base and generate awareness of Oconee County as a place to bring your family and your business.” To learn more, visit www.investoconeesc.com.
