Judge Grants Bond Reduction for Suspect

Oconee General Sessions Court Judge Lawton McIntosh reduced bond for 28 year-old Trey Jerrell Frasier to $250,000 yesterday. And the defense, prosecution and judge all agreed on the October term for the trial, since the summer dockets have already been filed.

Frasier has been in jail since his arrest in May of last year on multiple charges of kidnapping, first and second degree criminal sexual conduct, assault and battery, burglary and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

While in court on Thursday, Frasier’s mother begged the judge to release her son, however, the mother of one of as many as seven victims of alleged criminal sexual conduct pleaded to Frasier to remain behind bars.

Should Frasier post bond at the Oconee County Detention Center, custody would be transferred to Clemson Police, who have an additional hold on him, according to jail records.
