Just a Few Days left of OCPL’s Food for Fines

There are just a few days left to take advantage of the Food for Fines program at the Oconee County Public Library (OCPL), says Director Blair Hinson. “Even after the holiday season has passed, there is still a need in our community. So, the OCPL will be accepting canned items and non-perishable food items in lieu of certain fines through Saturday, Feb. 17. You may bring in one item per dollar of fines you wish to have waived, up to a five dollar maximum. This does not apply to lost or damaged items. Please no opened, unlabeled, or expired items.” Items may be brought to any OCPL branch.
