Lakeside Lodge Meeting Today

A meeting this morning could be pivotal in whether Oconee County is able to save the Lakeside Lodge condo project from annexing into the City of Clemson. Oconee County Councilman Julian Davis, who will be one of the participants, says the biggest issue will be the incentives the county can offer to save the seven acre lot in the Hartwell Village Shopping Center. The fear among many is that should Clemson annex the property, the city will be in position to annex other parts of the shopping center, which is located in Oconee County.
