Local Health Care Worker Charged with Theft of Drugs
Seneca Police arrested a woman on Thursday in connection to an investigation of drug thefts. Police said Sabrina Ann Wilson, age 42 of Seneca, had stolen or tried to steal controlled substances from individuals she met while on the job employed in the medical field locally.
An investigation began back on June 1st, and Seneca Police said that they spoke with more than ten people who informed them they had experienced suspicious behavior while around Sabrina Wilson over the past several years.
Investigators further stated that several victims and witnesses described deception and manipulation on the part of Wilson to gain access to the controlled substances. Wilson was charged by both Seneca Police and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office with multiple counts of second degree burglary, theft of drugs or medication and attempted theft of the same.
Wilson was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center and released on a combined personal recognizance bond in the amount of $163,000.
Police are encouraging others who may have been victims of theft of suspicious behavior on the part of Wilson to get in touch with law enforcement.
