Local Warming Shelters Open During Extreme Cold

Our Daily Rest in Seneca has activated its White Flag shelter, offering warmth from 8:00-10:00 p.m. at 525 East Main Street when temperatures drop below 36°F. HOPE Missions of the Upstate in Anderson operates a warming shelter November through March on nights below 38°F, and the YMCA of Easley, Pickens, and Powdersville provides heated spaces, hot showers, and charging stations during regular hours.
