Longtime City Administrative Assistant announces Retirement

The City of Seneca will soon say goodbye to a longtime Administrative Assistant at City Hall. Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander thanks Cindy Kelley for her service and wishes her well in retirement. “I’m going to miss Cindy. She actually came on right around the same time that I was elected to City Council, so she is at 28 years. I’m happy for her. I know she is looking forward to being able to retire. She started when she was very young with the city, so I’m just really happy for her. She will now be able to do more things she wants to do with her daughter and the family and everything. But you want people to be able to enjoy, they give so much to the city, and you just wish them good health and that they can enjoy their retirement.” After 28-years working for the City of Seneca, Kelley’s last day will be Friday, Dec. 1. The city has a drop-in luncheon planned to celebrate her retirement at the Lowery Building.
