Man Charged with Sexual Exploitation of Minors After Hidden Camera Discovery
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office has charged Justin Lee Lucio, 36, with three counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor 1st Degree following a months-long investigation that began in June when a young girl disclosed at school that Lucio had sexually abused her; detectives learned the victim’s mother grew suspicious after Lucio placed cameras in her other child’s bedroom the previous year, leading to the discovery of a small hidden camera in plain sight that recorded the child’s room, with Homeland Security assistance helping build the case against Lucio for producing child sexual abuse material.
Lucio has a prior history of domestic violence and kidnapping from a 2013 Oconee County incident and was also charged with hit and run in 2014 by Seneca Police. He remains in the Anderson County Detention Center after he was denied bond on all charges.
The 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office prepares to prosecute both this case and a related hands-on abuse incident from April.
