Man found dead off Highway 29 in Anderson

Anderson Police and CrimeStoppers are asking for the community’s help locating a suspect in the shooting death of a man found early Sunday morning in the parking lot of Skateland USA off the Highway 29 Bypass.  Investigators reports that 24-year-old Chaunsey Cunningham of Greenville was pronounced dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound to the head. Anderson dispatchers received a call around 1:30am reporting a prowler. The caller later told police she heard eight gunshots. When police arrived, they found Cunningham dead. A female victim was also grazed by shots and taken to the hospital for treatment.  Four people were in a car that crashed as they were trying to get away from the shooter.
