Man pleads Guilty to Multiple Crimes in OC

After entering guilty pleas to multiple charges which included armed robbery, burglary, arson, and the possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, Barry Steven Garrett Jr. of Utica was sentenced to 13 years in prison. The ruling this week in Oconee General Sessions Court, follows Garrett’s arrest on March 31, after a house fire on Sherard Street in Seneca. However, the Seneca Police Department’s investigation started with a burglary and car break-in on East Main Street earlier this year.
