Mayor thanks Smith for Many Years of Service

Last week was the last Seneca City Council meeting for longtime City Attorney Mike Smith, who has served the city for the last 30 years. He is retiring and last Wednesday night’s special called meeting was his last in the capacity of legal counsel for the city. Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander says he will be missed and thanks Smith for his many years of service to the city. “That is a long time, 30 plus years and to be here that long and to make such a contribution to the city it means a lot. Mike loves Seneca and grew up here. I just appreciate everything Mike has done and I know he is looking forward to some sort of retirement, I believe.” Bo Bowman succeeds Smith as city attorney.
