Missing Mom extradited back to OC

The mom who went missing earlier this month has been extradited back to Oconee County to face charges. On May 9, 34-year-old Jennafer Machelle Price and her six children went missing. On May 11, they were located in Autauga County, Alabama. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office reports that Price was brought back to Oconee County Tuesday, May 22, by deputies from the Warrants Division who traveled to the Autauga County Jail. Price was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 7:30pm Tuesday night. Employees from the Department of Social Services in South Carolina also traveled to Alabama to take custody of the six children from DSS officials in that state. Price remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center on a combined $15,000 surety bond on six charges of custodial interference. If she makes bond, Price will be required to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of that bond.
