More Bomb Threats reported

Local law enforcement agencies are investigating two straight days of bomb threats in and around the City of Seneca.  Threats have been made to schools, banks, retail stores, and the hospital. Investigators are busy trying to trace the calls and identify the caller.  However, Seneca Police Chief John Covington says, “We have had the voice described as male, then female and then a computer generated voice.” A nurse in the Oconee Medical Center maternity ward received one of the calls, claiming a bomb would go off.  If you have any information concerning the recent bomb threats in and around the City of Seneca, you are asked to call police at (864) 885-2718.
