Motorists warned of Crowds at Clemson for Graduation

Motorists are being warned about anticipated crowds at Clemson University on Thursday and Friday for graduation ceremonies. Plan extra time for travel as utility construction on Highway 93 has narrowed the road to two lanes from Cherry Road to Calhoun Drive. Drivers from Greenville, Central and Pendleton and other points east should use Perimeter Road from U.S. 76 and follow that around the south side of campus to get to Littlejohn Coliseum for graduation ceremonies. The police will direct traffic. Parking is available in lots near the coliseum. Around 3,800 graduates are to receive degrees at four ceremonies; two on Thursday and two on Friday.
