National Hunting and Fishing Day Set For South Cove County Park On Saturday, September 28th

(Seneca, SC)—Oconee County Parks, Recreation and Tourism has announced that activities related to the 2019 National Hunting and Fishing Day will be held on Saturday, September 28th at South Cove County Park.

The family event will be held from 9am until 3pm and is free and open to the public.

National Hunting and Fishing Day is made possible through partnerships with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, Oconee County Parks, Recreation and Tourism, Trout Unlimited, Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service, South Carolina 4-H Shooting Sports, the Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund, Duke Energy and the S.C. Wildlife Federation.

According to a press release, the 12th celebration will include activities such as archaeological displays, archery, air rifles, camouflage games, fly traping and casting, kayaking and fishing on Lake Keowee.
