New Outdoor Christmas Exhibit at the BLSCM

You can now see a winter wonderland on the back patio of the Bertha Lee Strickland Cultural Museum (BLSCM) in downtown Seneca. This new exhibit is meant to brighten the holidays for residents, explains BLSCM Manager Shelby Henderson. “Come to the back lawn of the Bertha Lee Strickland Museum and we have our first outdoor patio exhibit this year, it is entitled “Celebrate.” It is a holiday exhibit, we are focusing on obscure Christmas facts this year and the beauty of this exhibit is whether we are there or not the lights are going to be on nightly until 9pm. So, they can come up the back lawn even when the museum is closed and see a winter wonderland on the patio.” The exhibit is free and everyone is encouraged to come take photos, continues Henderson. “We just want everybody to come out, bring your family, bring your camera, there are a lot of photo opportunities.” The lights come on at dusk and the outdoor exhibit is open to the public daily until 9pm. The BLSCM is located at 208 West South 2nd Street in Seneca. This exhibit runs through Jan. 6, 2018.
