New Seats for Oconee County Offices Complex

The Oconee County Council chambers and the customer waiting areas at the County Offices Complex on Pine Street in Walhalla will soon get a little more comfortable. For the first time in around two decades the old seats in the facility are being replaced. The county ordered 100 new seats at a cost of approximately $3,500. While attempts were made to clean and restore the old seating, the process revealed disintegrating fibers, and after several complaints about the seating from citizens, the decision was made to simply replace them with something more appealing.
