Newcomer Club of the Foothills schedules Meeting

Join the Newcomer Club of the Foothills for the first membership meeting of the New Year on Tuesday, March 6, at 9:30am. All current and prospective new members are encouraged to attend. All meetings take place on the first Tuesday of each month at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 616 Quincy Road in Seneca. At the March 6, meeting presentations will be made by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) and Friends of Lake Keowee Society (FOLKS). Julie Vidotto, Director of OLLI Clemson, will be on hand to share what’s in-store for upcoming semesters. OLLI is an organization that offers hundreds of year-round classes, workshops, special events and experiential opportunities in the region for adults 50+. FOLKS relies on active and collaborative membership that joins residents and businesses with a common interest in the important goal of maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of Lake Keowee. New members are welcome to join a Newcomers meeting at any time and discover new friends, new local experiences and new opportunities for community involvement.
