OC Chamber announces 2018 Scholar Ambassadors

With the start of another school year, the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce announces the 2018 Scholar Ambassadors. These are students in the School District of Oconee County (SDOC), explains Oconee County Chamber Executive Director Vanessa Penton. “Our 2018 Scholar Ambassadors are Jordan Marcengill from West-Oak High School, Anne-Hamilton LeRoy from Seneca High School and Carter McInnis from Walhalla High School. These students participated in the Chamber’s Junior Leadership Oconee program last year and applied to participate in the Ambassador program for this year. Although we weren’t able to provide space for all of the applicants, these ladies represent a fine group of students from the SDOC and we look forward to working with them.” Congratulations to these students for being named 2018 Scholar Ambassadors for the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce.
