OC Chamber expands to New Office

The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce is in the process of relocating its office from 105A Ram Cat Alley to 135C Eagle Nest Drive in The Eagles Nest Office Park off Highway 123. The new office will be fully operational on August 23.  With the start of new Executive Director Jillian Lusk on August 19, the Chamber is preparing itself for growth. The new office has more space for the Chamber’s visitor center and has meeting facilities for members’ use.  “The new office is in a highly visible, central location right off Hwy 123,” Lusk said. “It has ample parking, meeting rooms for our members, and wireless internet for members. I am confident these improvements will help our team to better promote Oconee County and serve the needs of our membership.” During the move, August 19 through August 22, there may be slight interruptions in normal working hours, but Chamber staff will continue provide service throughout the transition. With almost 400 members, the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce focuses on improving economic activity and quality of life in Oconee County.
