OC Chamber names new Executive Director

The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce has named Jillian Lusk as its new Executive Director, starting August 19, 2013.  An experienced Chamber executive from St. Petersburg, FL, Lusk is married to Brock Lusk, an Oconee County native and Major in the Air Force. Lusk was a member of the leadership team at the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, where she worked for more than five years. She has a strong background in economic development and business advocacy and is skilled in marketing and public relations. “We are delighted that Jillian is taking the helm of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce,” said Hunter Kome, chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. “She has the energy, experience and vision the chamber needs to continue to grow and thrive.” As Executive Director, Lusk will focus on serving the needs of the nearly 400 businesses that are members of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce.
