OC Chamber Open House postponed

The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce announces that tonight’s open house has been postponed, explains executive director Jillian Lusk.  “We were really sad to do it but we wanted to make sure the office looks its best and is completed ready for a large group to come in to see it.  Right now we are still just putting together some last finishing touches, some furniture still being put together and things like that, so we just wanted to wait until we could make sure everybody saw the best of the Chamber.  However, even though we are not doing the open house tonight we will postpone it about a month out so the first or second week of November we are finalizing that date.” Residents are still invited to stop by the new Chamber Office, adds Lusk.  “We still encourage anybody who is ready to come see us is welcome to come in any time Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.  We will be there and we would love to show you around, give you a tour, and give you information about the business or anything else you could want to do here in Oconee County.” The new office of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce are located at 135 Eagles Nest Drive, Suite C, off Highway 123 in Seneca or visit them online at www.oconeechambersc.com.
