OC Chamber warning of Possible Phone Scam

The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce is warning the community about a possible phone scam. Oconee County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Vanessa Penton reports that they have been made aware of a possible phone scam where calls are being made to area businesses. They are saying they are somehow affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce with a phone number of 864-392-8032. This is not a call being generated by the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce, warns Penton.
