OC Farmer’s Market ready for Real Grand Opening

After a few successful trial runs, the Carolina Foothills Heritage Market is ready for its real grand opening this Saturday.  The new home for the Oconee County Farmer’s Market is 178 Hayfield Road in Westminster, which is near Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative off Highway 123.  Carolina Foothills Heritage Market marketing director Vann Miller tells about Saturday’s real grand opening.  “We will have a band there and we will have some activities for kids.  This just needs to be a regular stop on your Saturday morning routine to come out, pick out your local produce, pick out your local crafts and really enjoy being a part of Oconee County.” Local produce will be the main attraction of this Saturday’s market says Carolina Foothills Heritage Market president Stanley Gibson. “We should have a good variety of produce.  Things are starting to come in now, the weather is warming up a little bit and the produce and stuff should be there.  We will have arts and crafts as well.  We will have snack vendors.  It will be a great time to come out and see what is available in Oconee County.” The Carolina Foothills Heritage Market takes place each Saturday morning from 8am until noon at 178 Hayfield Road in Westminster.
