OC Man sentenced on Child Porn Charges

An Oconee County man will spend the next 33 months behind bars.  United States Attorney Bill Nettles announces that 42-year-old Hollis Frenchman Gray, Jr., of Seneca, was sentenced in federal court in Greenville, for possession of child pornography.  Senior United States District Judge Henry M. Herlong, Jr. sentenced Gray to 33 months imprisonment. Evidence presented at the change of plea hearing established that on June 5, 2012, law enforcement executed a search warrant on Gray’s residence.  Computers and other storage media were seized.  A forensic examination of Gray’s computers revealed 191 images of child pornography. This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse.
