OC Sheriff seeks Public’s Help in Shoplifting Case
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help regarding a reported shoplifting case in Seneca on Wednesday. Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt gives details. “The Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted for shoplifting at the Wal-Mart in Seneca at 1636 Sandifer Boulevard. According to deputies, two individuals entered the store around 4:41am Wednesday morning and are accused of stealing two HP laptop computers, valued at $478 apiece. Deputies say that one of the individuals reportedly loaded two computers and started pushing the buggy. The other subject took over the pushing duties and both exited the store running. The suspects left the store around 4:52am and then exited the parking lot about a minute later.
