OC Sheriff’s Office announces Graduation of Two Deputies

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces the recent graduation of Uniform Patrol Deputy Angel Jennings and Animal Control Officer Ryan King from the Basic Law Enforcement Program at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Jimmy Watt, Public Information Officer at the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office gives details. “Jennings is originally from Charleston and graduated from T.L. Hanna High School in 2011. Jennings previously worked at Perry Correctional Institution and obtained the rank of Sergeant before leaving to take a position with the Sheriff’s Office, where he was hired in March of 2017. Jennings is also in the Army Reserves. Jennings has been assigned to the Delta Shift in the Uniform Patrol Division. King also graduated from the Academy in the same class. King graduated from West-Oak High School in 2013 and attended USC-Aiken for two years. King was hired by the Sheriff’s Office in May of 2017.” Congratulations to both of these deputies of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.
