OC Sheriff’s Office arrest Teens on Multiple Charges

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has charged two teens with multiple charges related to recent thefts in the county.  Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt gives details.  “18-year-old Blake Christian Maness of 110 Lake Drive in Fair Play and 17-year-old Ahmed Nedal Mefleh of 188 Campbell Road in Westminster have been charged with two counts each of burglary in the second degree, two counts each of grand larceny, four counts each of petit larceny, and four counts each of breaking into a motor vehicle.  In all, there are 24 total counts. Maness and Mefleh are accused according to warrants of stealing electronics and cash from a location on Point Place Drive in Westminster, of stealing electronics and sunglasses from another separate location on Point Place Drive, of stealing a GPS unit from another separate location on Point Place Drive, of stealing electronics, binoculars, and cash from another separate location on Point Place Drive, and of stealing electronics from a location on Chickasaw Drive in Westminster; all of these incident occurring on May 25th of this year. Maness and Mefleh are also charged with breaking into a home on Chickasaw Drive and into a home on Point Place Drive.   Plus, the two teens are accused of breaking into 4 separate vehicles on Point Place Drive.  Once again, according to deputies, all of these break-ins occurred on May 25th of this year. Both teen suspects were booked on the charges at the Oconee County Detention Center in Walhalla.
