OC Sheriff’s Office conducts Operation Glacier

This week, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Seneca Police Department in Operation Glacier. After an investigation, spanning several months, into methamphetamine being brought into the county, authorities executed two search warrants on Wednesday. As a result of the investigation, over 200 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of over $28,000 was seized. Those search warrants were executed at homes on Argo Road in the Seneca area and on Jefferson Road in the West Union area. As a result, Jerry Scott Gibson of Seneca was arrested following the search on Argo Road and charged with several counts of trafficking methamphetamine. Michelle Ann Reid was also arrested at that address on Argo Road and charged with trafficking methamphetamine. During the search on Jefferson Road in West Union, Jamie Charles Harvey of West Union, was arrested and charged with several counts of trafficking methamphetamine. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and the Seneca Police Department are continuing their investigations.
