The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a case of counterfeit bills, which were used to receive goods and cash at a store in West Union.  Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt gives details.  “25-year-old Kayla Marie Bryson of 320 West Railroad Street in West Union was arrested by deputies this afternoon and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 1:57pm Wednesday afternoon on forgery charges.  According to an incident report, Bryson reportedly gave a cashier at the Dollar General store at 146 Scenic Plaza Drive in West Union three $10 bills to pay for items taken to the register back on May 27th.  The warrants state that Bryson knew the money was counterfeit when it was presented and did witness and assist in its printing.” The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
