OC Sheriff’s Office makes Drug Arrest

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a pair of brothers on drug charges.  According to deputies, the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division along with the Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. team executed a search warrant in the B & B Trailer Park on the Utica Mill Hill near Seneca.  The search warrant was in reference to controlled buys from the residence.  Deputies arrested 38-year-old Allen Ray Atkison of Seneca and charged him with distributing Loritab to an undercover agent of the Sheriff’s Office on June 19th at the residence.  Also on June 25th, Allen Ray Atkison, distributed a quantity of methamphetamines to an undercover agent of the Sheriff’s Office as well.  Also arrested was 34-year-old Jerry Lee Atkison of Seneca for distributing a quantity of Loritab to an undercover operative of the Sheriff’s Office on June 20th. Upon execution of the search warrant, deputies also found Allen Ray Atkison to be in possession of two clear baggies containing a powder like substance and a glass pipe.  He will face an additional charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.  The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation.
