OC Sheriff’s Office makes Drug Arrest near Walhalla

Deputies and Narcotics Agents of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office recently conducted a search warrant near Walhalla, which resulted in the arrest of a man on drug charges.  Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt gives details.  “38-year-old Nathan Fred McCall of Walhalla was charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance.  McCall also had a warrant charging him with distribution of methamphetamine.  According to deputies, the search warrant was served at the Little River Lane location.  Several items were taken from the house, including drug paraphernalia, prescription pills, and a firearm.  Back on June 3, an operative working for the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office purchased quantity methamphetamines from McCall.  Also in the execution of the search warrant, a second individual was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies.  24-years-old Robbie Leigh Eades of West Union had two outstanding bench warrants from August of 2012.  One for larceny and one for burglary – second degree from incidents that according to warrants happened on May 1st, 2012.” Both suspects were booked into the Oconee County Detention Center.  Narcotics agents with the Seneca Police Department assisted the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, which is continuing its investigation.
