OC Sheriff’s Office seeks help locating Missing Seneca Man

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help locating a Seneca man that was reported missing Monday night. A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division received a phone call around 9:48pm Monday from a family member of 51-year-old Jasper Frazier Youngblood of Owens Road in Seneca. According to the information the Sheriff’s Office has received, Youngblood was last seen by the family around 1pm Monday. According to information obtained from Youngblood’s family, Youngblood was last seen at the Catbus stop in downtown Seneca and got onto one of the buses to go fishing. The family member informed the deputy that Youngblood does frequent Keowee Marina or a fishing pond located on Clemson Boulevard near Carson Road. The deputy also learned from family that Youngblood did not carry his cell phone and his only method of transportation is by walking or riding a Catbus. The deputy checked boat ramps in the county and the fishing pond at Clemson Boulevard near Carson Road but was unable to locate Youngblood. The deputy also checked local hospitals and other locations but Youngblood was not at those facilities. Youngblood’s information was listed in the National Crimes Information Center database as a missing person. An investigator from the Criminal Investigations Division spoke with a family member but they have not heard from Youngblood. Deputies have also learned that Youngblood does have health problems and recently changed medications and may not have his medication with him. Youngblood was last seen possibly wearing navy pants with a faded black shirt. He is a white male, 6’2” and weighs 220 pounds. He was short gray hair with a gray mustache.
