OC Sheriff’s Office still searching for Missing Teen

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding a missing teenage girl.  Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt gives details.  “Investigators say 16-year-old Katherine Lidey went missing on February 27th around 6am from her foster home in Westminster.  She is described as having blond hair and green eyes, about 5’01” tall and around 115 pounds. The Department of Social Services was notified, as well as the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office. Social Services believe that Katherine, who goes by Katey, is still in Oconee County and there have been reported sightings of the teenager in the Salem and Seneca areas. Katey also has family in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the agency believes that she could possibly be there as well.” Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Katherine Lidey is encouraged to call the Oconee County Sheriff’s Department at (864) 638-4111.
