OC Students taking PASS Test

Today is test day for public school students in South Carolina.  The School District of Oconee County announces that 4,832 students in grades 3-8 will take the Palmetto Assessment of State Standards test today.  Oconee County Schools Superintendent Dr. Mike Lucas says, “I know our teachers have worked hard to prepare students in Grades 3-8, and I wish our students the best of luck as they complete the test items and navigate the testing protocols.” Roughly, 350,000 students across the state are taking today’s tests. This is also the week for Advanced Placement Exams for juniors and seniors. The AP exam is scored on a scale of 1-5, and high school students receiving a three or higher generally get college credit.
