OC Worklink Location changing

There is now a new way for employers and job seekers to access employment and training services through the SC Works Work Link Employment Centers in Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties.  The Work Link Workforce Investment Board announces that as a result of the U.S. Department of Labor sequestration and budget cuts, the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce is using a new model for unemployment insurance delivery. This change led the Work Link Workforce Investment Board to make strategic decisions on how best to deliver employment and training services to the public. Services for employers and job seekers will be re-located from the SC Department of Employment and Workforce building in Seneca to the Tri-County Technical College Quick Jobs Development Center at the Hamilton Career Center in Seneca. Hours of operation for the new location will be 8:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, except for holidays. Job seekers visiting any of the SC Works Work Link Employment Centers will be able access the following services: job placement assistance; information on career paths and opportunities; internet access; workshops; resume writing; fax/phone access; career counselors; training opportunities; and community resources for those in need.
