Oconee County Council To Meet Tonight At 6PM In Council Chambers In Walhalla

(Seneca, SC)—Oconee County Council will hold its regular council meeting tonight at 6pm in Council Chambers at the County Administrative Offices in Walhalla.

Among the items on the agenda tonight is a presentation to council from Lorain Crowl,  executive director of United Housing Connections, who will present the 2019 S.C. State of Homelessness Report as well as a presentation on Crime Data in Oconee County from Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.

Council will also consider several action items on the agenda, which includes a lease for a fuel truck for Clemson-Oconee Airport and the purchase of an excavator for the solid waste department and a 6-wheel loader for the county Rock Quarry.

Also under consideration for Council will be the funding commitment for infrastructure improvements at the Seneca Rail Park and for engineering services for the Seneca Rail infrastructure.

Before tonight’s council meeting, the Planning and Economic Development Committee will have a meeting in council chambers beginning at 4:30pm.
