Oconee County Man Charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct; Two Charged with Fraud

According to jail records, on Wednesday Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 42-year-old Jonathan Matthew Tyler on four counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor between ages 11 and 14, and one count of intent to commit criminal sexual conduct in the first degree. Details surrounding his arrest should be forthcoming soon from Sheriff’s Investigators. Tyler remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center pending bond and judicial proceedings.

Also, according to jail records, on Tuesday, Seneca Police arrested two people for financial identity fraud. 26-year-old Anthony Robert Owens and 23-year-old Autumn M Goins are facing two counts of fraud each. Information regarding the investigation which led to their arrest is anticipated from police detectives soon.
